Loving the smell of Champagne - Winton Raceway - 3rd Place Podium - 28 April 2024

Thanks to Matthew Gilmour and Donna Gilmour from Gilmour Racing/KCK Racing Australia for an incredible weekend of action packed racing Winton Motor Raceway. A special thankyou to Crew Gary Sturdy,  Marcello Surace, and Tim Jellema for all your assistance in securing our second podium.

Starting the weekend with zero Formula 3 experience at Winton Raceway.  Four practice sessions and we are on the heels of the practiced locals.  Qualifying sitting on pole until the last laps, qualifying fourth.

Race one dropped a tyre on the entry of turn four taking the car to the wall, causing no damage. Starting at the rear of grid for the second race making it back to fourth in the opening lap.  With the unfortunate mistake made by another competitor had me finish third.  Maintaining position with a broken header halfway through the final race and the weekend .

Bring on Sydney for round 3. 24-26 May 2024 at Sydney Motorsport Park.
