Thankyou to the committee of the MG Car Club for hosting Round 1 of Motorsport Australia - Qld State Championship held at Morgan Park Raceway 17-19 March 2023 with 127 competitors. What an outstanding achievement.
A special thank you to Iccy Harrington , Phil Marrinon from the Formula Ford Australia for hosting round 1 of the National event along with Gary Goulding from QLD Formula Ford for organising a strong field of twenty-four open wheelers to compete on track with over the weekend.
A massive thankyou to all the Officials, Volunteers, Marshalls who gave up their weekend to allow us the opportunity to follow our passion for Motorsport.
A personal thank you to Brett Evans and Lee-Anne Maker-Evans my Pit Crew for the setup of the car and for keeping Kyle focused and in the zone.
Kyle Evans was the only privateer competitor in the field of 24 competitors in Formula Ford. Kyle finished in 7th position out of 24 competitors with 23 points for the weekend.
