Two Podium Places - Warwick Kart Club - KA4 & KA3 Junior - 18 Feb 2018

Kyle Evans competed most weekends in two classes of Kart racing.  The classes Kyle competed in were the KA4 Junior Light and KA3 Junior.  Kyle's sister Ursula would also compete in KA4 Junior Light.  This event was round 1 held at Warwick Kart Club over the weekend of Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 February 2018.  Kyle and his friends were riding their scooters on a track walk before drivers brief on Sunday and Kyle fell off his scooter.  Prior to the second day of the event Kyle mentioned he had a fall on his scooter however, was not hurt and would compete in the two classes.  Kyle completed both classes and achieved second place podium in both classes however, he said his left shoulder was sore.  The ambulance felt his shoulder and advise he could possibly have a broken collar-bone.  Therefore, Kyle's sister accepted both KA4 Junior Light and KA3 Junior trophies on Kyle's behalf while he was driven to the hospital in Warwick.  It was confirmed that Kyle had broken his collarbone and not only competed in two classes but achieved two podium positions.
